FLC Quang Binh - Forest Dunes Course
FLC Quang Binh Beach & Golf Resort Forest Dunes Course is the first of ten courses being designed by Schmidt-Curley at this massive development near Dong Hoi on the coast of the East Vietnam Sea. Built in 2018, the par-72 course measures 7,232 yards and represents one of the most natural courses in Vietnam. The site features entirely white sand with six kilometers of coastline and primary interior dunes providing up to 40 meters of elevation change. Brian Curley, ranked 4th in Golf Magazine's "Architect of the Year," designed the course to work with rather than against this dramatic natural terrain. FLC Quang Binh Beach & Golf Resort is projected to eventually include 180 coastal holes, making it the largest golf development in Vietnam. The resort complex includes hotels, villas, and shophouses in what planners envision as an oasis destination in the sultry Central Region.

FLC Quang Binh Beach & Golf Resort Ocean Dunes Course is the second course completed at this expansive development, opening in 2019. Designed by Schmidt-Curley, this par-72 layout measures 6,925 yards and offers a contrasting experience to the Forest Dunes course while maintaining the same spectacular dune-top setting. As the name suggests, the Ocean Dunes course features more direct ocean exposure and views compared to its sibling course. The routing takes advantage of the coastal position to maximize sea breezes and visual drama while Brian Curley's design creates strategic challenges from the natural terrain. Together with Forest Dunes, the two courses provide 36 holes of world-class golf in one of Vietnam's newest golf destinations. The Quang Binh location also offers proximity to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, home to the world's largest cave, providing unique non-golf activities for traveling golfers.
