West Lakes Golf and Villas opened in 2018 as the first golf course in the West Ho Chi Minh City region, designed by the legendary Peter Thomson's Thomson Perrett firm. Located west of Ho Chi Minh City in Long An Province, this 18-hole championship course represents one of the newest additions to the Saigon golf scene. The 7,100-yard layout is highlighted by picturesque lakes on almost every hole, undulating fairways, and clever bunkering that showcase the signatures of Thomson Perrett's world-class design philosophy. Each of the 18 holes at West Lakes features water in the form of a lake, stream, or both, creating both strategic challenges and stunning visual appeal. Thomson Perrett has over 250 successful golf projects around the world, and this is one of their latest designs. The course offers a complete golfing experience with modern facilities and represents a new development direction for golf in the western suburbs of Vietnam's largest city.
